Low Rises 6 & 7

Become part of our vibrant community.

About Low Rises 6&7

Low Rises 6 & 7 is first-year residential community of 320+ residents. Our brick and glass buildings are located in a beautiful neighborhood on North Campus and are connected to several of the Program Houses and the Robert Purcell Community Center (PRCC) by brick pathways. Although the Low Rises are two separate buildings, residents have access to both Low Rise 6 and Low Rise 7 - we're one community!

The mission of the Low Rises Community is to create a supportive and inclusive environment that allows our residents to thrive. We offer a variety of opportunities for residents to connect with each other and to other communities, to learn outside of the classroom, and to explore themselves and the world around them.

The community is supported by a live-in team of 8 Resident Advisors (RAs), a Residence Hall Director (RHD), and a Faculty-In-Residence (FIR). We also have  several Community Fellows that regularly engage with residents. Whether it's connecting you to resources, serving as a sounding board, hosting a fun and educational program, chatting over a coffee, or just being outside in nature, our team is here to help you make the most of your first-year experience.
