Welcome to the Mews Hall and Loving House: the LGBTQ+ Living Learning Unit community page!

Mews Hall is home to 270 first-year students.  It is located on North Campus along with all of the other first-year communities, making North Campus home to nearly 3,000 first year students in an environment designed to promote class year identity and lifelong friendships. Loving House will be opening in Fall 2019.

The Mews community is committed to providing a high quality living learning experience that allows residents to learn about self and community through opportunities for engagement and leadership. The community is supported by a staff who is trained to help you get acclimated to the Cornell environment, provide on going support and offer fun and education programs throughout the academic year. Our staff includes 9 Resident Advisors (RAs), a Senior Resident Advisor (SRA) and a Residence Hall Director (RHD).

In addition to the many hall-wide programs we offer throughout the year, we have a Residence Hall Leadership Organization, supported through the Residential Student Congress (RSC), known as the Mews Hall Council. Students are nominated to serve as representatives for their floors, and also have the opportunity to run for executive positions within the council. We welcome you to going us in these and other amazing opportunities in Mews.

We hope you enjoy this brief video introduction to Mews!
