  • Artist-in-Residence applications are open every two years. Email our RHD.
  • Community Fellow applications are accepted rolling. Email our RHD.
  • Student staff positions (Office Assistant and Technical Director) applications are open every year. Email our RHD.
  • Volunteer positions are open semesterly. Some are supervised by the SRA, and some by Hall Council. Most require weekly meetings and will be about two hours a week. Email our SRA to be directed to the right place.

Space Usage

  • Use of our Theater requires working with our Theater Subcommittee. Email our Theater Subcommittee president to learn more.
  • Use of our Dining Hall, Dance Studio, Tammany Lounge, and Common Spaces for club events requires working with our SRA and then Hall Council. Email our SRA to learn more.

All space users are responsible for leaving the space in equal or better condition, and are required to follow Registrar policy on space reservation. Submit space requests to our SRA, who will likely place you on our Hall Council's agenda.

  • Risley's 200 residents participate in an optional email list, the "Squidserv" which can be used for limited advertising. Membership required to advertise here. Apply for membership here. After acceptance, for each event, you may advertise at a maximum of once per day, for a maximum of fourteen times.
  • Postering must follow Residential Programs department rules. Groups who fail to follow these rules will have materials removed, be contacted by the SRA, and possibly placed "in poor standing" by our Hall Council. Quarter Cards may not be distributed or abandoned anywhere in our community, as our Building Care team then has to pick up after others.
