RA On Call

As your resident advisors, we serve as your student advisors in the residential setting. During the business day, students can receive support through the Appel Service Center. However, how can students receive support during the evenings and weekends?

From 7:00p to 8:00a Monday through Thursday, and then 7:00p Friday to 8:00a Monday, residents may call the Risley "RA On Call," available for students in need.

The RA On Call does regular rounds of the building, and carries a cell phone that is immediately answered for any student in need.

On Call can include lockouts, roommate agreements, noise complaints, concerns for a friend, or personal support. On Call is not room service, a verbal encyclopedia, nor prank recipient. All callers have phone numbers recorded.

If you're ever in doubt, know that it's okay to call us! We much, much prefer that you over call, than not call at all. Even something that seems weird or trivial can end up requiring support.

The RA OC number is for residents only, and is posted around the building.
